I don’t know weather they removed it or if it’s a bug or something? But I miss it. My only other main problem is that story being told through notes. I’m not saying that it is a bad story, I like the characters perspective of the place and the inner turmoil and tormenting emotions that dwell within him as the journey continues. I just don’t like the fact that you have to dig deep into something that probably would have been more enjoyable and enticing for other players if it wasn’t so hard to find and understand.

Nether the less, I like this little iOS series of puzzle games. The puzzles are great, the idea that you just get a bunch of random looking red stuff and have to figure out what to do with it yourself, while it may not be for everyone is definitely something I’m a fan of. Multiple times I found myself figuring out what to do and going “oh that’s sooo cool!”, so quality of the puzzles is fantastic.Īs for music and visuals, the visuals are oddly nice, and even if a bit rudimentary, they’re anything but bad-looking. The music is still good enough that I don’t swap it out for something else, like I normally do. Since you find the story in notes it just feels really weird, but it’s still slightly nice to get the character’s point of view, and the serenity of the place, as it already feels fantastic, is made better by this, but overall it’s just a compiled mess of random character things that is impossible to figure out. The Smoky Mountain Center succeeded in pulling together enough staff to run the unit - but only by stealing nurses from its existing psychiatric facility, the Balsam Center. The diversion of staff to the HRMC unit left the Balsam Center with only half the staff it needed to operate safely. Such low staffing levels could have gotten the Balsam Center in trouble with healthcare inspectors.Īs a result, Balsam Center stopped admitting patients Dec. 12 to its adult recovery unit, which offers detox to adults with mental illness, and the crisis management unit, where patients come to be evaluated.ĭoug Trantham, director of services for the Smoky Mountain Center, justified the shift of nurses from the Balsam Center to the new hospital-based center. “Some areas you can make do and come up with other ways to meet the need, but when you’re talking about a 24-hour unit (like that at HRMC), you have to have what you have to have to run it safely,” Trantham said. Ironically, the psychiatric unit at HRMC was supposed to alleviate the critical shortage of beds for mental health patients that has plagued the state.
